Pay attention, there will be a test later...
Oooh, cool picture. I wish I could say that's mine but it's from Google. Of course. I wonder if that's a delphinium. So anyway...........I have decided to try beekeeping! I have been researching it and thinking about it for over a year and this spring I'll take the plunge. I've signed up for a class at the WSU Cooperative Extension for beginning beekeepers and the first session is next week. It's a day-long lecture series but the rest of the meetings will be "field trips" where we suit up and go to the bee yard and get hands-on experience working with the bees. The bees themselves won't be here until April. Bee delivery day is April 14th, the same day as Cam's kegger! That will be quite an exciting day. Between now and then I have to figure out what supplies I want, what kind of bees to get and what kind of a hive set-up to get. I'll get it ordered this month and get ready for the bees! I think I'll get a kid's outfit too so Cam or Toby can join me.
Stay tuned for updates!
